- General description:
Center Groton historic district is one of the four local historic districts in Groton. Established in 1974, it comprises of seven properties towards the southwest of Center Groton Park.

The district comprises of the six properties towards the north of Candlewood Road, from the intersection with North Road towards the west and Wendell Road towards the east. The district also includes a seventh property towards the northwest of the intersection of North Road and Gold Star Highway, as described in the district ordinance.
